Position Summary
To engage children and youth in creative iSTEAM learning experiences that ignite curiosity, foster relationships and competencies with Human/Technology interactions, while building a diverse community of capable learners through empowered play.

Responsibilities

**Must be a resident of Calgary or surrounding areas**

Must have reliable transportation

Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate REQUIRED

Minimum of Standard First Aid CPR-C (or willing to obtain)

Clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector (or willing to obtain)

Provide a safe environment for children and staff.

​Supervise and evaluate staff and program to ensure compliance to Coded Minds Canada standards and Regulatory standards.

Supervise children to ensure their health and safety.

Provide children with educational and recreational activities appropriate for their age level as per Coded Minds Canada philosophies (emergent curriculum, iSTEAM, and Growth Mindset)

Ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner.

Attend workshops and professional development seminars to maintain professional competence in the industry.
