iSTEAM Education is an approach to learning that utilizes Innovation, Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for directing student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Coded Minds creates programming to further enrich education by utilizing coding, robotics, engaging project-based learning to spark an interest in lifelong learning.


In this unique and creative camp, our little campers will have fun as they incorporate fine arts and technology together. Using STEAM (STEM + Art), campers will learn the fundamentals of electrical circuits and coding! This camp is great for those who love to be creative and tinker with technology. Campers will put together their own unique art projects, sculptures, and 3D designs.

Do you have a passion for playing video games and want to develop your own gaming projects? Participants will be introduced to 2D animations and game design. Students will later transition to 3D game design platforms that will allow for the creation of engaging animations. Game on!

Lego WeDo robots really can do it all! In this week-long program, your child will build and code various robotic creations to mitigate environmental disasters. Not only will your child strengthen their cognitive development through hands-on engineering and coding activities, but will also learn about technologies shaping our future. Please note other robots will be used within this course.

Wearable technologies are advancing rapidly and used for health monitoring, entertainment, and sports. In this technology-immersive offering, we will spark students’ imaginations and foster creativity as they design and iterate their own wearable technologies. The course will introduce coding fundamentals, electrical circuits, and 3D modelling/printing.

Want to create your own game within Minecraft? Take your skills to the next level and build your own customized Minecraft world with block code or JavaScript! Create 'mods' that control how your Minecraft game behaves, and battle zombies and creepers by crafting code with Minecraft Education Edition! Prior Minecraft experience is recommended.

Digital storytelling is an imaginative and engaging way for kids to share ideas and experiences. Students first create characters, themes, and digital backgrounds using various tools. Participants will then utilize a visual programming language to create their own interactive stories and animation through code.

Participants will create their own site with the free drag-and-drop website builder. No prior experience required! The course will guide attendees through the whole process of building a website, while also covering graphics, social media integration, and an introduction to e-commerce.

Discovering, learning, prototyping, designing, testing-repeat! All these elements make up design thinking, a process that helps engineers develop innovative solutions to challenges in our changing world. This hands-on camp will immerse your child in the wonderful world of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Campers will conduct science experiments, make observations, invent, and build with their hands!

Calling all Minecraft enthusiasts! During this summer camp, you will build your own world and overcome obstacles with limited resources, design and customize your very own character and build redstone circuits to learn about electricity. Try your friends' creations at the end of the week in the ultimate gaming tournament! No Minecraft experience necessary.

Participants will investigate advanced circuitry through hands-on challenges in our tech and automation playground! Electricity foundations will be reviewed and students will automate their Arduino robotic designs with servo motors, LEDs, jumper cables, and sensors.

During this program, campers will work as young engineers, and designers to build robots that leverage the core elements of coding, mathematics and simple machines while completing fun challenges.  This highly engaging summer camp builds early STEM and spatial skills and fosters creativity through play.

In this hands-on robotics camp, students will use Lego Mindstorms to build innovative designs in a series of engineering challenges. Mindstorms is a blocks-based programming platform that provides students with opportunities to code unique movements and use robotic sensors.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at your favourite theme parks as we investigate the physics of attractions and themed set design! Participants will use digital modelling, 3D printers, electrical circuits, and maker supplies to fabricate their own creations and explore the principles of animation and materials engineering.

Python is used across diverse fields from web and game development to machine learning, AI, scientific computing and academic research. It is easy to learn as a first language and a valuable skill-set to have in any programmers' stack because of its diverse usage. This course is specially designed for individuals with no prior programming background. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.

We built this curriculum for aspiring Android developers who are new to programming to ensure that you get the real-world skills you need to know how to build and accelerate your journey towards becoming a professional Android Developer.  We will use Android Studio to build our apps, so you should have access to a computer that can run Android Studio in order to follow along (see Android Studio's System Requirements for details).

In this course you will learn How do the populations interact? Systems of differential equations. You also learn how to write about your project in a scientific report. You get an introduction to scientific and mathematical writing. You will be working on your own modelling project. Because mathematical modelling is only learned by doing it yourself, you complete your own modelling project on a self-defined real-life problem. You will be guided through the project by completing a list of smaller tasks.

Differential equations are the mathematical language we use to describe the world around us. Most phenomena can be modeled not by single differential equations, but by systems of interacting differential equations. In this course, we will learn how to use linear algebra to solve systems of more than 2 differential equations. We will also learn to use MATLAB to assist us.

The course will cover obtaining data from the web, from APIs, from databases and from colleagues in various formats. It will also cover the basics of data cleaning and how to make data "tidy". Tidy data dramatically speed downstream data analysis tasks. The course will also cover the components of a complete data set including raw data, processing instructions, code books, and processed data. The course will cover the basics needed for collecting, cleaning, and sharing data.
